Dr Amanda Ross

Amanda Ross is a Senior Scientific Collaborator based in the Biostatistics group in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel, Switzerland.

Amanda's work focuses on understanding the epidemiology of malaria and the impact of different interventions. This involves developing epidemiological models to help evaluate the likely impact of control and elimination strategies, developing and applying statistical methods to estimate the underlying transition dynamics, and designing and analysing epidemiological studies.Amanda has an interest in the extent and consequences of fine-scale heterogeneity in malaria dynamics.

Amanda contributes to the malaria work of the Diagnostics Modelling Consortium.
