Rasa Izadnegahdar is a programme officer on the pneumonia team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He focuses on coordinating and managing pneumococcal vaccine impact studies and supporting grants which involve clinical outcomes in particular helping shape diagnostic and treatment approaches that can improve care for children with pneumonia.

Rasa is a paediatrician by training and continues to provide clinical care in Seattle, WA, USA. He completed his medical degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and holds a MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, USA.

Rasa supports the Pneumonia work of the Diagnostics Modelling Consortium.
